Río de Janeiro
Known as the Marvelous City, Río de Janeiro owns attractions that give it an international reputation. Who have not listened something about carioca carnival? This is the most impressive world festivity. Have you listen something about the Pão de Açúcar and the Cristo Redentor? Or the beautiful Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, which inspire musicians from all over the world? Or Tijuca National Park, the biggest natural reserve in an urban area of the country? Rio has all and much more. Its attractions can be appreciated at any period of time.
Angra dos Reis
Angra dos Reis is a celestial place with more of 360 islands and 2,000 beaches which offer wonderful places for the ecologic adventure and the leisure time. It is located at two hours or 150 kms. by car from Río de Janeiro.
Angra is known as a summer place for the social elite and international famous people who use to be in its luxurious hotels, in its own islands or even in the Cara Island (island of the Caras Magazine, which uses to invite singers, actors and other famous personalities in the summer).
In spite of being a small city, Angra has several colonial and catholic monuments. Streets of the center have been projected in curves, following wind sense.
Foz do Iguaçu
Foz de Iguaçu city is reputed for having natural beauties which attract people from Brazil and from all over the world. Among its attractions you can find Iguazú Waterfall, the great hydroelectric station of Itaipu and the place where Iguazu River has its mouth in the Parana known as the three borders. Iguaçu, in Tupi-Guarani, means "big water".
The typical food of the city is known as pirão de Foz, however roasted goldfish from Parana River, has a great success in the local gastronomy, and each year it takes place a competition called Roasting the Goldfish, which attracts a lot of people.
